North Carolina

This was Colton's first time to North Carolina. And his first long car ride. He did pretty well in the car. Friday night we drove mostly through the night, so he slept most of the way. We left our house at 7:30 PM and got to Aaron's dad's house at 2:30 AM. On the way home we traveled during the day and he did well. He got to see the ocean for the first time when we went to a nearby pier. I'm not sure what he hated the most; the crashing waves or the strong wind. Actually, he did pretty well. He just clung onto me tight. Every once in a while he would get brave enough and lean out from me to get a closer look at the ocean. Sorry we didn't get any pictures of the pier, because we forgot the camera. Here some other pictures though: Here he is with Grandma MacRoy (his great-grandma)
Colton with Papa.
Here everyone is: Sarah, Aaron, Kimberly, Dad, Colton, Isabelle, Grandma MacRoy, and Heather. Marylee was taking the picture. As you can see from the pictures, I got my hair cut. It was down to my shoulders before.

Even though it was a quick trip, we enjoyed being with Aaron's family.

I really miss everyone back there. It was fun to see them in pictures anyway.
