Christmas 2007

Yep, once again it has been awhile. It's what? January now? In fact, January is almost over. I have to admit that I've been spending more of my time on MySpace or Facebook instead of this blog. I apologize, because I know not all of my friends and family members have an account with either of these sites. I will try better to update this blog with things that are happening. Maybe that could be just one of my resolutions.
The latest piece of news was that a week and a half ago my Grandma Sheen passed away. It was very sad, but she was hurting a lot and it was time for her to go. Now she is in heaven with her husband who died 7 1/2 years ago. We will all love and miss her.
I was able to go back to Utah for the funeral. Even though it was a sad time, I was very glad that I was able to see all my family. Unfortunately, Aaron and Colton was unable to come out with me (those darn prices of airline tickets!). But, Aaron was able to take some time off work and stay with Colton while I was away. I'm sure it was nice for the both of them to spend so much time together--just daddy and son!

Even though these photos have nothing to do with recent events, I still wanted to post them. As you can tell they are of Christmas. Christmas this year was lots of fun. We stayed Christmas Eve at Aaron's grandparents--per my request. I'm so used to have many family members around, that if we were to have Christmas morning with just us three, it just wouldn't feel right.

Christmas Eve--trying to get Colt to settle down to open his traditional Christmas Eve present, which were PJ's.

Still trying to get Colt to sit for a few seconds. He really wasn't interested in opening presents this year.

We finally got him to sit. Of course, mom did most of the opening.

Doggy PJ's!

Aaron and Colton opening stockings.

Probably, Aaron's favorite gift. A new amp for his car.

Fuzzy Crocs. They are SOOOO warm and nice.

Grandpa trying to pull down Aaron's over sized sweat pants. He got mega huge sweats per his request.

Some more stuff for his car.

My favorite gift (which I picked out)--a Cricut cutting machine.

A Whinnie the Pooh car from Meme (Aaron's grandma)

We did save a few of Colt's gifts to open when we got home, so we could have our own Christmas. Again, I am trying to get Colton to sit and open the presents. Not interested.

Playing with some of his new toys.
