Balloon Festival 1

Every year, a local town holds a Balloons Festival. Last weekend, My mother-in-law, Debbie, my niece, Isabelle, Colton, and I went. We woke up early in the morning to watch the dozens of balloons take off in the crisp fall air. There were so many fun pictures that were taken, it was hard to just choose a few. So I created a few posts so I can show my favorites.

Debbie with Colton
Found a new texture--hay. I'm not quite sure what he thought about it. Hmmm...
Isabelle watching the balloons in the field.
This guy was crazy. He is sitting in a chiar strapped to a bunch of helium balloons. I'm not quite sure how he eventually went down. He floated far away. I think he gradually released a balloon one at time, until finally he started to float down. Crazy. I would never do that. You have no control.

Isabelle--playing with her hat.

Balloon Festival 2

Trying to keep warm in her Strawberry Shortcake blanket. BRRRR!!!
Jumping from haystack to haystack in the maze. I'm not quite sure she understands the purpose of the maze. All the other kids were doing it also. Oh well, "when in Rome..."
Colton and Mommy. By this point he was soooo tired. He didn't want to pose for anything.
Oggie the sea-serpant

Meow! Isabelle with her face painted.

Balloon Festival 3

Still trying to wake up. Man, it was cold BRRRR!!! (Did I already say that?)
Taking a nap.
The wonderul thing about Tigger's...
Mommy and Colton sporting our Tigger tooks (beanies).

Grandma (Debbie) and Colton playing in the hay.

Driving Miss Daisy

Last week Aaron had to go in for a meeting on his day off. So, Colton and I hung out in the car and waited for him. We had just come from a drive in the mountains (ahem, I mean, hills) to see the fall leaves. They were gorgeous. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics."Get outta my way! I'm on the road now."
A little too early to be driving? I think so.

Playing Around

Such a happy baby. He was trying to crawl onto my lap to grab the camera.
Standing up on his own two feet. Mommy put him up there, but he held on pretty well. He's not quite pulling himself up yet.
Showing off his new talent--Crawling!

Again, trying to pull himself up, although it looks like he's trying to eat the table. It wouldn't be too far from the truth.

PS We found the camera. Yeah!

He's Crawling

I mentioned yesterday that he wasn't really crawling yet. He was just doing the army crawl. Well, I think I was pre-mature in writing that. Last night he started crawling more than he was scooting on his stomach. Keep in mind, it still needs a little work, but he's doing it. He will get up on his knees, put his hands forward, then drag his two knees at the same time to catch up with his hands. Not to brag, but it's so cute!!

Men. . . You can't live with them and you can't live without them

So, I know it's been a bit since I have posted, but I have a very good excuse. My wonderful husband has misplaced our camera. He took it to go take pictures of a customer's car and I have not seen it since. When I asked him where it was he said he didn't know. And he's not to enthusiastic to help look for it. And I don't want to nag him, but. . .

Anyways there are tons of pictures I want to take and also want to download from my camera, but because of the afore mentioned problem, I can't. Needless to say I'm pretty frusturated. And to top it off, my Kodak picture program is messed up and I can't fix it. I'm not very smart when it comes to computers.

Well, just to update on a few things. Colton, got another haircut (his second one and he's only 9 months old!). He's also crawling now, sortof. It's mostly just the army crawl on his stomach, but everyonce in a while he will be on his hands and knees and he will move them forward ever so slightly.

Loomin' Like Crazy

Over the past week or so I've been using those round knitting looms. I love them! I've been borrowing them from my friend, Anne. Now, I'm so hooked (no pun intended), I need to go buy me a set. I even got Aaron interested in using them. He helped me with a Christmas present and he even a knitted a took (beanie--for you non-canadians) for himself. Even if you're not good at knitting (which I am (k)not--tee hee), this product makes it so easy (Wow! I could do a commercial!). Anyway, I'll try to post some pictures of some of the projects I worked on.
